My name is Syalisa Winata
I am an artist based in Houston.
My work reflects my journey as a woman and a parent, shaped by memory and adaptation. It holds traces of the cultures I’ve lived within, and the transformations that have emerged through my evolving technical practice.
Through painting, I seek to illuminate the quiet beauty of everyday life—those fleeting, often overlooked moments that may seem insignificant on their own, yet together form the substance of a life lived.
